WHAT WE REQUEST

  • Native speakers from countries where English is spoken (speaking English as mother tongue)
  • TEFL certificate or any other similar certificate  
  • English teaching experience in a playful, easy and conversation form for children of 9 – 18 years of age
  • Teaching materials to be prepared for the lessons for the whole week (printed or on a flash drive) and a 10 – 20 minutes presentation on your native country
  • Responsibility and reliability

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Salary in the amount of CZK 7,650 per week, i.e. CZK 6,500 take-home pay after deducting 15% income tax; the salary will be paid in cash at the end of the camp on Saturday.
  • Part-time work under the employment agreement 
  • Comfortable accommodation for free at our costs 
  • Full board will be provided and water intake will be ensured for free

LESSONS

  • The lessons should be focused in particular on the development of active use of the language, i.e. communication
  • Lessons take place in small groups of approx. 8 – 12 students into which the children will be divided at the beginning of the camp according to their language skills (test results).
  • The lecturers will agree on dividing the groups among them; each lecturer will teach in his/her group for the whole week. The children can be divided into groups as follows:
    • Lower level – A1/A2, children of 9 - 12 years of age
    • Intermediate level – A2/B1, children of 13 - 15 years of age
    • Higher level – B1/B2, children of 15 – 18 years of age
  • 40 lessons per week; daily program with lessons is here.
  • Printer, CD player, blackboard/flip chart, TV, data projector, office supplies and classic camp items are available (the equipment differs according to the locality in question).
  • After the lessons, it is possible to participate in leisure time activities (games, competitions, entertainment, etc.), which will be prepared by the Czech team

ARRIVAL AT THE CAMP

  • Approximately ten days before the camp beginning, we will inform you about train or bus connection to the destination place.
  • All foreign lecturers and the Czech team are obliged to arrive on Saturday evening (between
    4 and 7 p.m.), i.e. one day earlier than the planned arrival of the children who will arrive on Sunday morning.
  • At the destination (bus/train station), a member of the Czech team will wait for you.
  • Our agency does not reimburse the costs of the transportation to and from the camp.​
